Stuff Nat Does_Italy_2

When I was growing up, our family vacations were amazing — beaches, lakes, amusement parks — but we never ventured more than a day’s drive from home. Europe? That felt like another planet.

For the longest time, I thought traveling to Europe was something “other people” did — people with money, confidence, or travel points they somehow knew how to use. It felt out of reach for three big reasons:

  1. Plane tickets are expensive.
  2. Foreign countries are scary.
  3. Planning a trip to Europe is overwhelming.

The Trip That Changed Everything

A few years ago, I finally ripped the band-aid off. Some friends invited me to join them on a trip to a country where I didn’t even speak the language. I said yes.

That trip changed everything. It was incredible and still one of my favorite travel experiences ever. Once I realized I could do it, I immediately started planning my next one.

What I learned was that yes, the old fears can be true sometimes. Travel can be expensive, confusing, and intimidating. Believe me when I say it doesn’t have to be. Once you learn a few tricks, traveling to Europe can actually be simple, affordable, and life-changing.

Why I Started Creating Content

If you’ve ever looked at photos of Paris, Rome, or Prague and thought, “That could never be me,” this blog series is for you.

Over the years, I’ve made every travel mistake in the book — missed trains, overpaid for flights, packed way too much, you name it. But I’ve also learned what actually works. My goal is to help you skip the stress and start booking your dream trip with confidence.

I’ll walk you through everything from choosing where to go to finding affordable flights, maximizing your time, getting around, and all the random stuff you’ll wish you knew before you go.

Here’s Your Pep Talk

You don’t need to be rich.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need to start.

Europe isn’t some mysterious place reserved for influencers or people with perfect travel spreadsheets. It’s a continent full of incredible people, food, art, and culture that’s waiting for you.

So grab a coffee (or a glass of wine), open Google Flights, and get ready.
